How to know what's being installed using automatic updates

Hi all, everyday i get the little yellow icon showing up on the takbar
saying downloading updates then a percentage i.e 50% or somwhere like that
but when it gets to 89% it disappears, then shows up again about an hour
after with the same thing. Is there anyway to find out what's being
installed without having to disable automatic updates and doing updates
manual? I'm using a MSI wind Netbook running XP home sp3 & the internet
connection is a 3.6 HUAWEI adsl connection. cheers

Using Automatic Updates in Control Panel ( Classic View ) change
the setting to "Notify, but don't download". This way you can open
AU when notified and select & control the updates to your PC.
