How to install win2000 server components on Win2000pro?

Hi!

I own 2000server for my small network, but I use it only as file server to
be able to share files between Mac and PC. I do not use any other features
of the 2000Server. I know that there is a way to install some 2000Server
features on win2000 pro machine. Is there a way that I can make 2000 pro as
a file server for Mac and PC in simple TCP/IP network without domain?

Thank you!

Your question is not clear. You say that you "own 2000server", yet you
ask how to "make 2000 pro as a file server". I can see a contradiction
here.

In general, any version of Windows can be used to share files and
folders, even Win9x. If you use a "Server" product then you get a few
extra things, e.g.
- You can establish an NT domain (which is irrelevant for file sharing)
- You can establish more than 10 concurrent user connections
