I am using a win2000 pro connected to a domain. There is one computer that
I cannot resolve the name for. Lets call it Server1. Server1 ip is
192.168.4.3. When I ping it it pings 64.0.163.153. I an the only computer
on the network that has this problem.
When I do ipconfig /flushdns and then immediately do ipconfig /displaydns
there is only entrys for server, and localhost. How do I remove this
static entry from my computer?

Enter this at the command prompt:

type %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Do you see "64.0.163.153 SERVER1" in response. If so, open this hosts file
in a text editor, i.e. NOtepad and delete the line. Or "comment" it out by
inserting a preceding # character.
