I have downloaded the Vista ISO file from MSDN and burned that file
onto a DVD.

How do I install from the ISO file that is on the DVD?

thanks,

You can't just burn the file to a DVD. You must use a program such as Roxio
Easy DVD Creator or Nero to "extract" and then burn the image "contents" to
a DVD. What you have done will not work as anything except as a drink
coaster.

Steve:

Use "Burn Image to Disc" to create the DVD

Open Roxio
Select File: New Project: Copy: "Burn Image to Disc"
Browse to where the Vista Image is stored on your hard disk
Insert a Blank DVD
Click the red button in lower right corner
