How to install/run Close Combat games on XP Home

I love the Close Combat games but have not been able to
install and/or run the games on my XP home computer. I
have not been able to find any 'fixes' or 'hints' on how
to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I run the install on the original Close Combat, I
get an error: This setup program is not intended to be
used with your version of Windows.

How can I get passed this? I've tried setting the
compatability in Propertiesz to all of the choces but
with the same result. This is while running from the CD.

Are you putting the CD in the drive then going to Start/Run/Browse and
looking for the setup.exe or install.exe file on the root of the CD.
Right-click that and follow the Compatibility information in Help and
Support (or the TechNet article I cited) to make the install think it is
going to the specific operating system for which the game was designed.

Yes. Tried it and it keeps comming back with the same
message. I even copied the CD contents to my hard drive
and tried running it with the same result.
