How to hide "Workgroup" from browsing

Hi.

This is Chris here with a question about hiding the "Workgroup" from showing
up at all in our wins 2000 AD domain. It looks like this when we go "Entire
Network--->Microsoft Windows Network-->"
A1door
Workgroup

Is there a way to hide "Workgroup" workgroup from all users in AD or
otherwise w/o having to go and edit each machine? What would be the
simpliest way, if this can be done. The PC's in the Workgroup are windows
98's and some brother printers.

You could use a workgroup name ending on $ on the machines/printers in
question, this would make it hidden.
example: workgroup$
same goes for machine name.
