How to get Windows Vista?

Regardless of what it says here, you can *not* get Windows Vista
anywhere. Windows Vista doesn't exist yet, and won't exist untill
sometime around the end of next year, at the earliest.

A beta version of Windows Vista will soon be released, but
there's guaranteed to be a large difference between that beta
version and the actual product when it's released.

Advising people that Windows Vista is available for them get now
is very much wrong, misleads people who don't understand what
beta versions are, and does a service to noone.

yeah your right and the screenshots are actuly Longhorn Buld 5060. I dont
think Microsoft has linked out the Vista screenshots yet and when the beta
1 comes out it would be slighty different from the 5060 series (5000 series)

I doubt, now is the time to fix bugs, than work on user interface.

Longhorn looks = 99% Vista looks

Its actually quite different.

I've used the original Longhorn betas and now I am on Vista. It's very
stable, very supportive of a variety of apps (Office 2003, Mozilla,
Visual Studio .Net 2003 & 2005) I have had no issues yet and I'm
impressed with the hardware support thus far.
