how to get rid of the preview pane

just got the new computer and can't find how to remove the preview pane in
my inbox. vista. all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much. I was ready to delete windows mail. When I check junk
E-mail folder I am forced to view the message with the preview pane. I hate
it.

I do not see any messages from Julian, in what application does F8 do
anything?
In WM, the shortcut is Alt V, L, P, enter.

I had thought that Julian meant Windows Mail, but I could not get F8 to
do anything for me either in it. I removed that part from my earlier
post.

Oh well. I prefer going through the menu anyway.

Simply add the 'Preview' button to the toolbar.

I checked out why I did not see anything from Julian, YMB, who posted here,
replied to a thread back in June 2007.

That would make it a lot easier to toggle on and off.

That option is there now and was in OE too.

Yeah, it's been a while since I used OE and Windows Mail. I use Windows
Live Mail mostly now. It had slipped my mind about it being available
with a toolbar button. DOH!

WLM has one too, if you follow their gratuitous change in nomenclature
