On 4/22 I wrote to this group...
"My supervisor imported a retired user's Notes and Tasks folders
into the successor's Outlook 2002 account.
When the successor opens her Notes and Tasks these folders are empty.
How can I find the imported Notes and Taks and move them to the
successor's appropriate folders?"
Brian Tillman responded...
"If you're using a PST, the better way is to open the PST (File>Open>Outlook
Data File) and not import it."
We are using MS Exchange Server, and the account in question is Outlook 2002.
File>Open>Outlook Data File... showed nothing in Personal Folders;
File>Data File Management... showed nothing in the Outlook Data Files window.
Where might I look for exported (or moved? sorry, my vocab's still growing)
Tasks and Notes items in Outlook 2002 / MS Exchange Server?
[ALSO... I want to use this service correctly...
should I have simply added this info to my
original communication? (Do you look at old
communications?)]
