How to estimate time....

When I create a video in MM2 with the expectation of saving it to a DV-AVI
and eventually to a DVD with the highest quality, how do I estimate how full
my disk will be while still in MM2.
Right now, I save the video to my HD as a dv-avi, then import it into Sonic
mydvd which will then show me how much will fit on my dvd. Then I go back
and add or remove some video depending on the report I get. How can I get an
estimate without going thru the 2 hour dv-avi save.

when sonic tells you how much will fit on a dvd it should give you how long the movie file is
e.g 1hr50mins
then when your editing your video in movie maker keep it to that time and dont go over it.
