I have an USB HSDPA modem, then configured an Dial-up connection use this
modem.
The issue is when I unplug the USB modem, the connection set to the internal
56k modem (an motorola onboard). This cause most times when I want connect
again using the USB modem, Windows XP cant connect because use incorrect
modem.

How to do than when unplug the USB modem, Windows XP no change the settings
of the connection?

Here are a few things to try:

- Don't unplug the USB modem.
- Remove the internal modem.
- Open Internet Options, Connections tab, remove the dial-up modem from
the list, or change to "Never dial a connection".
- Go to Device Manager, locate the Dial-up modem, right-click the modem,
click "Disable".
