How to do a "special" spell-check?

I use word 2003 as my Outlook 2003 (Windows) editor. I have auto spell-check
set for all new documents I send. How do you spell-check PREVIOUSLY sent or
even received documents, if the need arrises? I can't get it to show up on my
menu, when highlighting text within these documents. Thanks for any feedback!

Thanks for the inquiry! I am primarily referring to emails that I have
already sent previously, and those that I have received from others in my
inbox, or previously read folder. Also I would like to spell-check
attachments that I have received from others, from time to time, before
forwarding them to another recipient. Even though I do spell-check all
outgoing email, I STILL [for complicated reasons! :) ] have the need to
re-do a spell-check, after I have sent the email, the first time. I have
thought about copying the whole document in question into a new word
document, just to do a spell-check, but that is very troublesome. If there is
a simple way to "engage" the spell-check feature/applet in "old" email, and
attachments, I'm interested. THANKS! - Tim

Okay, to each his own! Try this: For previously sent or received email
messages, open the message and click forward or reply (although I didn't try
it with reply) run spell check and make corrections if necessary. Click send.
For attachments, open attachment, make changes and close attachment. When ask
to save, say yes. Click Forward, then send.

Are you referring to documents (attachments) or email messages?
