How to disconnect

F

Faisal

Dear all,

I am using Win XP Pro SP1 in a domain. Can't find any option for
'disconnect', Only options available are 'shut down, log off, stand by
and restart'

How can I have disconnect option available, so that I can disconnect
temporarily without closing all the applications. Somehow this option
is available on some other computers on the network.

I will be grateful for your help.

How are you connecting to the domain? What is different about the
computers you think can do this? Perhaps you're thinking about Fast
User Switching, which does what you're talking about (allows you to
switch users without logging out of the first account). If you have
programs like pcAnywhere or a VPN installed on your computer, they have
probably disabled Fast User Switching since that function is
incompatible with them.
