How to disalbe AVG sig advertising on e-mail

I installed the AVG free version on a friend's PC and it works fine,
but attaches a 'sig' at the bottom of scanned e-mail with an
advertisement for AVG. That's okay for a free version, but I don't
want it on a paid "professional" version of anti-virus software from
any vendor (currently I'm using Norton and want to change).

I have read all the PDFs and looked all over grisoft.com's website and
cannot find out if that feature can be disabled if one uses AVG
professional.

Can it be disabled for either the free or professional version, and if
so how?

AVG Control Center | "Email Scanner" | "Properties" | "Configure" |
UNcheck "certify mail" for both incoming and outgoing | OK and Apply
your way out.
