How to disable "delete email"?

P

Paul Moloney

When composing an email in Outlook, I usually hit Ctrl+S to save it,
but have sometimes accidentally hit Ctrl+D and deleted it!

Does anyone know how I can either:

* Disable the Ctrl+D shortcut
* Disable the "delete email" function altogether?

Thanks,

P.

If you disable the Delete E-mail function your Inbox will fill up with old
messages.

I'm afraid the only good advice I can offer you is to try and be more
careful. When you press CTRL+D Outlook should ask you to confirm that you
want to delete it. Answer "No" then try your CTRL+S again.

Do you really need to save your e-mail? Are you composing over time or is
it something you're going to promptly send? (ALT+S)
