After deleting the unwanted service, fix your clock and/or time zone. You're
posting one hour ahead of time.

What is the name of the Service? How do you know the service entry is
bad? What anti-virus programme detected the worm and what was the name
of the worm?

Hope this helps.

In a command shell (cmd.exe), run:

sc /?

You can use it to delete a service (but you need to stop it first). If
you haven't first saved a backup image of your OS partition, you could
shoot yourself in your foot.

(Retry. First submission resulted in "no such article" from MS server.)
