How to Delete Search Entries

I don't mean the "history" of Internet searches in IE, but hard drive
searches in Windows--the drop-down lists that appear when you enter a letter
in the search window.

I believe it's 'Clear document history on exit' in TweakUI.
* Open TweakUI http://windowsxp.mvps.org/admins.htm
* Select 'Explorer', uncheck 'Clear document history on exit', click OK
* Logoff and then logon
