How To Creaye Bootable DOS Diskette in W2K or W98?

I need to create a bootable DOS diskette in order to flash an updated
SCSI controller card (Adaptec 21960) BIOS for my W2K system, but I don't
think this is possible in W2K. I have another computer running the
Windows 98 OS, but the only option for creating a bootable diskette
(Under Add/Remove programs/Create Boot Disk) appears to me to be one
that boots under Windows, not DOS. What am I missing here?

The boot disk created with win98 is a dos boot disk which will boot your
win2k sys.
or you can visit www.bootdisk.com
I used such a boot disk to update my Adaptec firmware
I belive also Adaptec supplies a bootable cd - according to their bumph

Navigate to;
\VALUEADD\3RDPARTY\CA_ANTIV\
on your Windows 2000 install CD-Rom and execute makedisk.bat or
www.bootdisk.com
