Is there a way to create a hardware profile to disable wireless adapter
when notebook dock on the docking station then enable when undock?

Is there a way to create a hardware profile to disable wireless adapter
when notebook dock on the docking station then enable when undock?

This is possible, but only for "real" docking stations, these that display
"Eject computer" command in Start menu (for example, Thinkpads 60, 61).
Then you automagically get separate hardware profiles; just go to device
manager and disable the device for this profile only.

For non-ACPI docking stations (where no "Eject computer" item appears in
Start menu,
for example Thinkpad 41, Dells made until 2006)
it is more difficult.
You need to detect something like presense of ethernet connection, and then
disable the wireless.
I don't know how to force XP to create a separate hw profile.
