how to create a startup diskette 3.,5"
in windows ME i just had to go into add remove programs
and go to the 3rd tab, and there was a place there for
creating a startup diskette. I can't find that same pleace
on XP...help?

The Windows XP CD is bootable, so a bootable floppy is
generally not needed.

But to create one: Put floppy in drive; right click on the
A: drive icon; Select format. In the format box there is
a check box that is 'make a system disk', put a check mark
in it.

Right click on the floppy drive and select Format. This the Format screen
there is only a method of creating an MS-DOS boot disk. MS-DOS will not see
the XP NTFS partitions.

You XP CD is the only boot disk you should need.
