How to create a broadband (PPOE) connection in Wondows 2000

Can any one tell me how to create a broadband connection
in Windows 2000. The create new connection wizard does
not show an option to create a PPOE option.

matt, most PPOE's are created when you install software, say from a
company like verizon or sprint, when using their dsl line...

Win2K does not have native PPoE support like WinXP does and so you need a
provider (Earthlink provides Winpoet which installs the ivasion adapter) to
provide you with a PPoE adapter which installs itself as a shim adapter.
