how to change this C:\Documents and settings\owner to C:\Documents and
Settings\Myname.
I already tried both Kellys-Korner and Dougknox but my problem is not what
they are explaining. In my system properties, under General Tab, my
registered name is there already it is only when i used the cmd command that
it showed the above line.
Thanks

The user profile folders (C:\Documents and
Settings\Username)_cannot_ be renamed, even if the associated user
account has been. So, your best course of action would be to log on
using the built-in Administrator account, create a new user account,
with the username desired. , and transfer the settings and data files to
it. You can then delete the old user account(s).
