Just purchased and installed Vista Ultimate.
In WindowsXP, I could back up the system to a file on a network disk. I set
up auto backups to do this.
After installing Vista, I try to backup the entire system to the network
disk, and I appear to not be allowed to do so (even with the network share
mounted as a drive letter). It just appears that I can only do a full system
backup image to a local disk. I'm given the option to use 25 writable DVDs?.
How do I get the Vista Ultimate Backup process to support the same behavior
that the WinXP backup utility did--backing up the system to a network share?
Thanks,
-mike
