How to access the Network Segment: % Net Utilization counter

Hello,

In the performance monitor, I'm trying to set up MS' suggested minimum
counter objects. For the network component there is a "Network
Segment: % Net Utilization" counter. Apparently, this counter is not
available out of the box. The network packet protocol driver needs to
be installed. I went to network properties to see if this could be
selected by installing a new protocol and that wasn't it. I went to
technet and found KB article 243270 and installed the Network Monitor.
However, the "Network Segment: % Net Utilization" still isn't
available from the add counters dialog in the Performance Monitor. I
get the feeling I'm still missing something... does anyone know about
the "network packet protocol driver"?

Thanks,

I have the same on my 4 server & professional PCs. One server is W2KAS SP3, others all SP4. I read RK, Internet. It seems that I did all correctly but Network Segment object did not appear.
