how to access encypted folers of WinXP Pro?

Hi there,

My pc was totally crashed, and I want to retrieve my data from it.
Most of my private folders are encrypted. I took out the harddisk and
connected to another pc (Windows 2000 Pro SP4), I was hoping to see
username/password window, but not. I know my account name and
password. Here is my question, how can I access to my encrypted
folders/files from another pc?

If the files were really encrypted with EFS (not just made private) and
you didn't back up your key, you are probably out of luck. For
