In fact the answer would be for ever because the Internet is growing
faster than not only what a 56K dialup modem can download but faster
than modern broadband modems can download!
Some dial-up servers have download accelerators you can use. I
thought htey woudl be a waste of time, but they double or tripled my
dl speed. If you can get one of those, it shold cut the time to dl
the entire internet substantially.
Yep, AIOE. That's why I have a filter that tags via colorization the
posts that get injected from there. /*UN*/registered free Usenet
providers seem to draw more of those type of users.
