how: find + add Spanish spell and dictio to english Word X in OSX

My Word X for MacOS X, is an english one and does not seem to have an spanish
dictionary or spell check. I need a Spanish spellcheck as well as the English
one. How can I find and incorporate one to my computer or to Microsoft so
that Word can access it?

Sounds like you just need to make the language available. On a PC you would
go to Start | Programs |Microsoft Office Tools| Microsoft office Language
Settings

Select the language you wish to add on the left and click the Add button.
Once you have added the language, make sure that you select your text that
needs to be spell checked in Spanish and set the language to Spanish via
Tools | Language or have Word detect the language automatically (which I
don't recommend). This should then allow Spellcheck to check all the words
in your document against the appropriate language's dictionary.

MacWord *does* come with Spanish spellcheck. See the appropriate section
here (#2) for setting it up.

Daiya Mitchell, i found your link very usefull. My Proofing tools folder in
my microsoft office 2001 does not have any Spanish files. It seems, by your
info, that i need to have them there for spanish spell check to work. Could I
find them anywhere in the web to download them and put them into my Mocrosoft
Office folder?
