When I receive an email with an attachment I cannot type into it. A message
appears at the bottom of the screen that it is "locked." How can I unlock?

Hi Kate

If you just open the file from the email, it's only saved as a temporary
file. If you work on it, even if you click the Save button or do File >
Save, it's still only saved to that temporary file. When you close it, the
file will be deleted.

So, when you get the email, save the attachment to your hard drive (in
Outlook, use File > Save Attachments). Then open it in the normal way and
edit it.

Hope this helps.
