How do you set Outlook to run ActiveX controls

When I paste text from Word, I receive the message "Your current secuity
settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result the
page may not display properly". How do I change the settings so I can paste
directly from Word?

Have you checked the security settings within Outlook and
played with the settings ? Go to tools, options, security tab, security
zones.? Have you tried changing your email settings as well for example,
send email in html format, rtf, plain text, word as email editor etc etc.

In internet explorer 6 have you tried resetting all the settings back to the
default through internet options on the advanced tab.

Thank you, Anver. I thought it might be connected to the security I have in
place for the internet (which is very restricted). I was hoping maybe
Outlook had separate controls than Explorer, but they are tied together. I
looked at the ActiveX controls (tied to Explorer), and they are set on
disable. Thanks again!
