how do you send an invitation without showing recipient's name

Is it possible to send an invitation without allowing each recipient to see
the other recipients? I know how to use the BCC feature in a regular email,
but BCC doesn't seem to be available in the Calendar invite. I've tried
using a distribution group but that doesn't work either.
