How do you disable Diskeeper (disk defragmenter program)?

I'm running Diskeeper 7.0.427.0 on my Windows XP PC. I'm quite
satisfied with this product, except for one thing...

PROBLEM: There are times when I do _not_ want Diskeeper to operate,
since the defragmentation process disrupts other programs that I'm
running (Example: When I'm trying to record audio onto my hard disk).

I've looked in the Help Topics which come with Diskeeper, as well as
the FAQ and other Tech Support materials at Diskeeper.com, but have
found nothing that specifically addresses this rather important -- and
basic -- issue (Most programs which run in the background -- such as
Norton Internet Security -- make the disable command easily
accessible.)

So my question is this...

QUESTION: How do you turn Diskeeper off when you don't want it to run?

Thanks are offered in advance for all helpful suggestions regarding
this matter.

Go into admin tools->services and set diskkeeper to manual or turn it off.
