I need help on executive Diskeeper (not the one currently installed with win xp)

S

Starfenot

I'm trying to install Executive Diskeeper ( Workstation )
and it gets up to fully installed then once it starts
trying to active its service during the installation
ending it gives me this:

Error 1920.Service Diskeeper(Diskeeper) failed to start.
Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system
services.

I'm logged into the Administrator ( not the one I created
but have tryed on both )

the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service is started that
its needing to use to start the service but i cant get
this to install. I'm trying version 7.0 full and the 8.0
trial and none seem to work Help! Microsoft error group
doesnt have info on this error and i tryed to google it
and only returned 2 sites inwhich both had the same thing
just in a different format of website layout. I tryed the
information it had anyway and nothing seems to work. I am
100% sure i have no spyware, no viruses and i have no
firewall enabled and tryed to install it without any virus
protection on. still.. nothing works.. it worked once
before but then i had to uninstall it through add/remove
since it all of a sudden one day stopped working be giving
me a crash in opening it.. then got blipped back to the
desktop screen.. somone please help me.

I'm in dire need and I'm at guru level of computer
experiance but cant seem to confiddle this one problem.
Anyone care to help me? the operating system has nothing
wrong with it what-so-ever and it just seems to be this
error message i get for this one program. I havent
defragmented in about a month or close to it and I know i
need to reallly bad and this one program is one of the
best out there on the market. so please help :) thanks

Actually im trying to install it, like i said in the above
2 posts.

I only have one MAIN Admin and one that is a member of
administrators group.

both ways doesnt allow me install because during its
finishing process of installing Diskeeper, it says
Starting Servies and it hangs there then thats when it
shows the:

Error 1920.Service Diskeeper(Diskeeper) failed to start.
Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system
services.

I tryed manually starting the services in the
administrator tools in controll panel and I then got:

Could not start the Diskeeper Service on Local Computer.
Error 193: 0xc1

I even enabled the services that it requires on the
programs of the programs I enabled etc.. and still got the
same type of error.

I repeat, I dont have this program installed so I cannot
run it, it hangs during the finishing process of the
installation, see above for details.

Is the account you are trying to install from a member of the administrator's group?

Q. How can I run Diskeeper from an account that is not a
member of the Administrators group?
A. If the account you are using is not a member of the
Administrators group, you will not be able to install or
operate Diskeeper. We recommend that you simply use the
Set and Forget It feature to set a schedule to allow
Diskeeper to run in the background on all systems. Since
the Set It and Forget It operation runs under the SYSTEM
process, there is no need for an administrator to be
logged in when it is running.
