how do you create a banner ad in Frontpage that does not have a g.

I am trying to create a banner ad through Frontpage 2000 which does not have
a gray background. The idea is to have several dissolving quotes on a
website which appear with a transparent background, instead of the gray box
which is the apparent default for the banner ad manager.

Thanks.

You can't. That is the nature of Java.

The FP Banner Ad Manager is a Java Applet with a default grey background that can not be changed,
you can not use transparent images with this. Also many users of Windows XP and IE 6 will never see
your ads unless they have downloaded and installed the Sun Java Virtual Machine, best to avoid using
the Banner Ad Manager and Hover Button Applets.
