How do you change the assigned "shortcut" to Send Email in Outlook

My boss stands behind me dictating his email messages. I therefore have to
type very quickly and sometimes will hit the CTRL+ENTER simultaneously (by
accident) sending off an email that is not finished. This is very
embarassing. How can I completely take off that "Hot Key" ("shortcut")?

Key combinations like that can be disabled by editing the Windows registry. Make a backup of the registry first, then navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\DisabledCmdBarItemsCheckBoxes key. If that key doesn't exist, create it. Then create a new string value named CtrlEnter and give it a value of 13.8. Restart Outlook.

Change the value of CtrlEnter to 0 if you want to enable Ctrl+Enter again.
