You can't view page spreads in Print Layout view regardless of what you do,
but you can view them in Print Preview if you enable either "Mirror Margins"
or "Different Odd and Even."

Put a blank page before the first page. You can even have the page
numbers start with 0. (Be sure to change that back when you get rid of
the blank page.)

That did not seem to get the view that I was looking for. Another post
offered a work around that will accomplish what I had in mind.
Thanks

Your answer lead me to a solution thanks. I will put my last page (a mailing
address page) as page 0 and the rest will fall in line.
Thanks

I assure you it will work just as I describe. As I said, you can get this
view only in Print Preview. Within that limitation, it works as advertised.

I apologize. I sense I did not provide a correct description of what I
wanted. I am able to access the two page view as you indicated. What I have
not been able to do is two view two pages with the even numbered page on the
left side of the screen. Any suggestion or solutions.

I don't think you can view them any other way! (Unless you mean the
_other_ left side of the screen. Word always displays pairs of pages
like a book-opening, where the even page, the verso, is always on the
left.)

I understood exactly what you meant. I repeat, if you have "Mirror margins"
or "Different first page" enabled, you will see the even pages on the
left--but only in Print Preview, not in Print Layout view.
