How do I turn auto scale off as a default in graphs (ppt 2003)?

I build graphs in ppt all day long. I need to resize the graphs (open or
edit object) regularly and the font size constantly changes because "auto
scale" button is turned on. However, I want the font size to remain at its
original size. This requires me to manually go in and unclick "auto scale"
on each graph.

It would sure be nice to set ppt to NOT auto scale as a default. Thoughts
on how to do this?

You could set up a user-defined chart that has the autoscale deselected.

http://www.echosvoice.com/colorschemes3.htm has instrux near the bottom of
the page.

There's no font autoscale in PPT 2007 charts. (Well, if there is, it's not
on by default. Yay!)
