Every time I delete an email in my Outlook 2003 I get an anoying sound. How
do I locate the control to stop this sound?

I don't recall a delete sound with the add-on sounds pack but try via Tools
| Options | Other tab - enable feedback with sound - uncheck it. If the
sound pack is what is doing it then all feedback sounds will be removed.

Start OL2003, select Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options. Is the
option to provide feedback with sound unchecked?

Thank you BillR,
I went to "starting in thiis folder (inbox)" and unchecked "wrn before
deleting this folder". This did the job!

Everytime in Outlook 2002 I get a bong sound when I delete a message. I
have turned the sounds off through Options - and its none of the normal
sounds. I looked through my sounds via - control panel - Sounds and there is
no such sound listed for any microsoft program.

Also no matter what I can't get the updates for the holidays. I even
renamed the old holiday file per their instructions per their instructions.
WHAT CAN I DO. I'm so frustrated.

I don't know where this bong sound is coming from. I cleaned up the
registry, changed the sound theme and its still there please help . I have
uninstalled and reinstalled the program and trust me have all virus and
spyware and malware programs installed.

I have already done that and the sounds listed in out look are not the sounds
this is making. It is wierd I go through my routine then have to put sound
on mute and 3-4 hours later when I take it off mute the problem is gone. If
I open and close outlook and restart the program its there but there is
nothing in any of it that points to the sound it makes when you delete email.
Anyone else experience this quirk?
