how do i set up global groups in cached mode

A global group was set up and it only appears when you are using non-cached
mode in outlook. Is there a way for it to show up when you are using cached
mode as well?

your local cached addressbook is corrupted. Delete the local caches and
resynch with the exchange server. local caches are at :
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
and
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
