I'd set up a subweb and ftp the images from your webcam software to the subweb.

Usually webcams come with the software to do that check your software...if it doesn't come back, I have a few links somewhere on my home machine.

No, I bought Logitech because I thought it would be industry standard and the
salesperson, like you, assumed it would contain webcam software. It doesn't.
It only refers you to "preferred sites" which offer the software; there is
only one, CCCam (or somthing) which actually will sell you a hosting place
for a monthly payment and then give you the software. I can't imagine it is
vastly difficult to
set up something on my own webspace. I've Googled it of course but haven't
yet found either freeware or shareware or advice or code which is complete
enough for me to use; is there something I am missing? I'd be glad of any
advice.

try www.tucows.com and download the CoffeeCup WebCAm software (it is
shareware/trialware) for 21 days or whatever and is then available for the
usual small shareware cost.
