how do I set up a discussion forum in front page?

I want to include a discussion Forum in my Web Site, and to limit its use
to
only registered users. Does Any one know a easy way to do this?
A discussion forum is a complex application. There are some free ones around
but they'll require some skill to set up.

If you're running on a server with FP Extensions you can use the built-in FP
Discussion Group, BUT it is very basic. It can be improved, visually at
least, by applying and altering styles, adding images etc.

Create a new website in FP and look at the templates, you'll see one for
this.

You'd need to set permissions on the server or add some asp code to limit it
to registered users.

The FrontPage discussions do not work with the current version (2002)
of the Frontpage extensions.

FrontPage discussions and FrontPage extensions have been incompatible
for the last 5 years. I do not believe Microsoft has ever stated this,
causing untold hours wasted by people beating their heads against the
wall. (including me)
