How do I set up a custom color permanently?

Laura M

I have a custom color that I use all the time in Microsoft Word docs, and
would like that color to appear in the "standard" color offerings so that I
can just click on a box rather than have to enter in the RGB formula each
time I use it in a new document. Is there a way to set this up as a default?
Thanks for your help!

Not sure if you can save a custom font, but as a work around, what I did was
create an auto text entry for the custom font color. I then recorded a macro
which opens that auto text entry and then added that macro to my toolbar.
Sounds like a lot of work, but once you have the macro on your toolbar - no
more messing with the font color!

You can create character styles to apply custom font colors and paragraph
styles and AutoText
entries for paragraphs or tables with custom color shading.
