Slides are formatted for TV ... dark background, light type. I want to
somehow export the ppt presentation (in pure B/W, without background) into
a
Word document. Can this be done without reformatting every slide?
If you have PPT 97 or 2000, you can put the file into B/W View, make sure
you're normal editing view (not slide sorter), and use File|Send to Word.
Choose Paste Link.
You'll get B/W thumbnails.
In 2002/2003, this is broken. You get color slides regardless.
I know someone who uses Shyam Pillai's Handout Wizard
http://www.mvps.org/skp/how/ to create the handouts in greyscale (so they'd
still have dark backgrounds and light text) and then uses the Invert option
for the images to change them to light background/black text. You might
experiment with that. It might also be possible to convert the thumbnails
and invert them using just regular Send toWord.
Also check Bill Dilworth's Slide Into Word.
