How do I restore Outlook files backed up with Nero?

When changing to a new computer I backed up using Nero. All files other
files are restored except Outlook. The folders I have are too small to be
..pst, and when I try to import them I get the message that they are not pst
files. Is there any way to retrieve this lost data? There are some emails
in there that are vital. Help please.

Hal Hostetler [MVP-S/U]

Outlook data files are set to READ ONLY status when they are stored on a CD
and Outlook cannot use them in this fashion. You must reset them to
READ/WRITE before they can be used.
