how do I reset outlook express as default email client

I recently downloaded Windows live and had serious issues with it so I dumped
the mail part and went back to using outlook ( well tried too ). Now Outlook
isnt the default email client and I keep getting a message about the default
not being set. I am unsure how to set outlook as default and currently cant
find the Disk to reinstall it. any suggestions?

Not sure if you are talking about Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express;
they are not the same program, or even remotely related.

To set the default email client open Internet Explorer Options, tab
Programs, section Internet programs. Under E-mail you can set your
default email client.
