How do I rename published link?

I deleted a sentence on a webpage and published it. FP suggested I
syncronize 3 pages of my site. I did this before publishing and lost the
home page link from the link bar in the process. I added the link again named
it "Home" and republished. On the web the link came up index.htm.
I followed instructions from about renameing the page
and published again. Now the homepage link bar does not the home link on it,
but all other pages have it and it seems to work correctly. It always had
the "Home" link on all pages before. Can anyone explain how to get it back
on home page? and why did this happen

Verify w/ your host the correct file name for your home page
Then rename your local PC web home page file name to be the same and check View Navigation to make sure it has the home icon in it
- if not in Folder List select it and right click to Set as Home Page
