How do i open multiple copies of powerpoint (2002)

Troy Bull

Greetings

I regularly have to combine several powerpoint presentations into 1.
And when I try to open more than one powerpoint at a time they open as
"child documents" inside the same instance of powerpoint. Is there a
way (with powerpoint 2002), I can open multiple copies of the program
(one for each document).

Thanks in advance
Troy

Troy,

Powerpoint is a single instance program.

You can however go to the Windows menu in powerpoint
and choose "arrange all"

You can use custom show.
1. go to slide show and click on custom show
2.click new
3. add slides from the presentation you desire to show
4.go to the "Main" slide show and place an action button, found on slide
show drop down menu, on the page of the main yshow you want to go from
5. pick the custom show you want to view (you can have several) and the
action button will hyperlink you to the show and return (when you set it up
that way)
John showed me this a few days ago and it worked fine for my presentation
this weekend.
