Can anyone tell me how to open a .dat file I was sent as an attachment in an
email?

If the attachments are "winmail.dat" then she can just double click
them and they should open in a text format:

Are ALL emails coming in with the winmail.dat or is it only when
it is from some particular domain? The following articles may
