How do I minimise Outlook 2007 to the system tray?

Hi,

Can someone please sell me how I can minimise Outlook 2007 to the system
tray as previously done in Outlook 2003, everytime I press the X button it
closes completely and every time i 'minimise' it remains in the open in the
taskbar.

As previously in Outlook 2003 I used to press the X button and then it would
minimise to the system tray (bottom right hand corner - where the clock is)
and everytime I had new email it would appear in the same area in a small
blue box, which would fade and dissapear, however I am unable to use this
function in the new outlook 2007, as it just closes compltely when pressing
the X button and remains cluttering up the taskbar when minimised.

Please help?

Thanks In advance
Regards

The "x" icon allways closes the open window
You need to click the "-" icon
rt click the Outlook icon in the running tasks section of the win task bar,
and select 'hide when minimised'

Outlook always closed when you pressed the X button unless you had a 3rd
party utility installed such as OLKeeper;

The "Hide When Minimized" option works, as the name suggests, via the
Minimize button. You can find the option in the same location as Outlook
2003 namely by right clicking on the Outlook icon in the Notification Area
and select; Hide When Minimized.
