Hi

Where is the video posted (e.g. YouTube)? Try downloading it using
www.vixy.net, then insert -> movie -> from file. You must have the video in
the same folder as the powerpoint file and that folder should have a short
file path.

Have a read of these 2 articles before you start as they may help explain
issues you could come across later:

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or
email a presentation

Where the video comes from, Youtube?
Commonly there are two steps:
1.Download a video from YouTube
It's very easy. There are many methods for you to choose from, and the
easiest way is to use this website:

You can take any video formats you want from YouTube.
Then embed the YouTube video to your PowerPoint.
2. Embed YouTube video into PowerPoint
Tips:
Always put the movie in the same folder as your PowerPoint
presentation. If you later move the PowerPoint presentation to another
computer, copy the movie too. Keeping your movie in the same folder as
your presentation ensures the link will still work. However, you
should always test the movie on a new machine just to be certain. Re-
insert the movie, if necessary.
PowerPoint 2003 and PowerPoint 2007 may a little different.
