How do I get text width zoom option back

I installed Office 2003 on my new computer and then updated. Having done so,
I find that the options to zoom to text width and whole page are no longer
available. How do I get them back?

It sounds as if you are in Normal, Web Layout, or Outline view. Switch to
Print Preview to regain these options.

I have to assume that when you say "and then updated" you mean you
updated to Word 2007...

Click the zoom percentage number (such as "100%") in the status bar to
open the zoom dialog. Both settings are in there.

Thank you very much. The remedy was exactly as you suggested.

Sorry! My message was not clear. I meant that I had updated Office 2003 and
not upgraded to Office 2007.

I have now received the answer to my problem from another posting. Thank you
for taking the time to respond to my plea for help.
